Weaning P.S.

I meant to add that the World Health Organization recommends breastfeeding until 2 years old (why is it only 1 year in America?). And also, now that I'm here, that I see this weaning less as the end of a special bond between the baby and me, but more as a metamorphosis, initiating the next stage of a lifetime special bond. My baby is getting older, and at each new stage, I get to relate and interact with him as an older person. That is exciting.
