Last week or so, LPP and I went for a bike ride with my Dad (Pop-Pop). We had such a blast. The weather was gorgeous, if not a little too hot. We rode from my Dad's house to the boat, then took the boat to the city with our bikes safely secured on bike racks. We rode from the boat along a designated bike path in the city and stopped at a really cool and colorful playground, where LPP got to swing and slide and climb and play with sand and watch sprinklers. Working up an appetite, we got lunch at Whole Foods (cheese pizza, mushroom and arugula pizza, watermelon, pineapple and drinks) and dined on a bench by the boats under the cool shade of tall trees. And then we started our journey back, LPP falling asleep all the way back to my Dad's house. One of my favorite days!
