I was awestruck by the beauty of these raindrops resting completely intact atop otherwise hidden spiderwebs among the bushes in front of my house. It's as though the bushes are wearing diamond tiaras and I'm Cinderella arriving at the ball as I walk out my door - except my Fairy Godmother forgot to put me in a fancy gown and I'm horribly underdressed.
The trees in this photo taken back in March remind me of a chorus line of feathered Ziegfield Follies girls.
Being the mother of a toddler gives me new eyes through which to see the world anew.
