The baby clapped his hands for the first time tonight!! So cute. It was more of the right hand clapping against the left hand rather than both hands clapping. He was happy and enjoying it. As were K and I (and Brooklyn!).
Another first - the baby's first solid(ish) poop! Which I was only able to witness after a day or two of diluted prune juice, apple juice, a doctor's visit, and the tiniest bit of a recommended Fleet suppository - the baby hadn't pooped in almost a week and was straining so much the past few days that I just felt so horrible. He's still working it all out, but at least he's made progress and is a little more cheery tonight. Pears and prunes tomorrow!
